The person behind M & M Medical and Training Services is Paul Mitchell. Paul has a wealth of knowledge and experience gained through his distinguished medical career.
I have been in the medical sector since leaving school. Having joined the army as a combat medic in 1981, I later trained and qualified as a nurse, serving in the UK and overseas. I lived and worked in the Gulf during the early 90's - working alongside the coalition forces during the Gulf War. I returned to the UK in 1992 and joined the Ambulance Service in 1996. I qualified as a paramedic in 1999 and completed a part-time degree in pre-hospital emergency care through Oxford Brookes University in 2008.
I set up the company in 2010 as a part-time venture to support and provide professional medical services to local groups/schools and charities. Following redundancy in 2012, I took on this venture full time and although we are much bigger now and undertake larger events, we remain true to our roots and continue to support local ventures.
I am an experienced trainer/assessor having undertaken NVQ for nurses and care assistants before working as both a University and NHS ambulance mentor/assessor/trainer. I am now the training manager of our company training division and regularly teach First Aid, Medical, Safeguarding and bespoke courses to a wide ranging audience.
I am proud of my company and its staff with all that we do, priding ourselves on our standards and ability to work with our clients to provide a safe event with top class medical services and facilities.
I look forward to providing these services to you and your event.
